HOW TO PLAN YOUR BACHELOR OR BACHELORETTE PARTY? EASY.

#1 Choose the "11"

Create a WhatsApp group with the people you think will join, and see who responds.

Give it a few days to see who’s really in.

Those who confirm stay.

Those who don’t say anything? Leave the group.

Goodbye is for the real ones.

#1 Choose the

#2 D-Day

Post 2 or 3 possible dates in the group and ask everyone to vote.

Keep the options simple and avoid confusion by not including too many “what if…” scenarios.

After a few days, just go ahead and make plans with whoever responds.

It’s better to go on a date with someone who’s interested than to spend weeks waiting for a response that never comes.

#2 D-Day

#3 Talk about money without drama

Before you start making plans, agree with the group on how much each person is willing to spend.

It doesn't have to be exact, but an estimate helps: lodging + dinner + activities = X€ per person.

And there’s an important decision that should be settled early on:

Does the bride or groom pay for their own, or does the group cover it?

If the cost is split among everyone, be sure to include that in the final total.

#3 Talk about money without drama

#4 Where are we going? What are we going to do?

Now that you know who’s going and when, it’s time to decide where.

A big city with a lively nightlife? Something more laid-back on the beach?

There are options for every taste—and budget.

Make a shortlist of 2 or 3 destinations and share it with the group.

Quick votes, no drama. The important thing is that everyone’s on the same page.

Check out our activities and accommodations: Porto, Lisbon, the Algarve, and Vigo.

#4 Where are we going? What are we going to do?

#5 Suit Up

If you already know where it’s going to be… now it’s time to think about the drip.

A proper send-off has to have style—whether it’s matching T-shirts, cool sunglasses, or that one accessory that makes the group look like a crew.

Not sure where to start? We've got a selection just for that.

Check out the accessories, coordinate with the group, and pick your mission uniform.

#6 Now it's up to us

Got your plan pretty much sorted? Perfect!

That's where we jump in as your ultimate support.

Tell us your destination, dates, and the group’s vibe—and we’ll send you a personalized quote with everything you need for a stress-free (and super stylish) bachelor/ette party.

#7 Show the gang

Do you have the quote yet? Great. Now share it with the group and see how everyone reacts.

Check to see if everyone’s on board, and if you need to make any adjustments, let us know.

Want to swap activities, change dates, or adjust prices? Let’s do it.

We still have time to iron everything out.

#8 Stress-free payments

The plan is set, the budget is finalized… now comes the least exciting part: paying for it.

But it doesn't have to be complicated—just decide right away how you're going to do it:

  • Does everyone make a transfer to the person in charge?
  • Or would you rather split the bill via MBWay?
  • Are you going to ask for 50% now and the rest closer to the date?

Set this up in the group and set clear deadlines.

You can even create a shared file for those who have already paid—it helps avoid confusion and headaches later on.

And of course, if you need help with the organization, we’ll be happy to assist you with that as well.

#8 Stress-free payments

#9 Check out the area

Before you finalize your plans, open the map and explore your destination.

See where your accommodation is located, the liveliest areas, bars, restaurants, and spots for your main activity.

You can even create a shared map on Google Maps with the group’s favorite spots—it’s easy and helps avoid surprises like “we’re far from everything.”

The better they know the terrain, the better the plan will go.

#9 Check out the area

#10 Go out with a bang

Want to take this from an 8/10 to a 12/10? Here are a few extra tips that make all the difference:

  • Bring a disposable camera or designate a “crew photographer”

  • Create a shared playlist on Spotify with songs that mean a lot to you

  • Plan a surprise for the groom (or bride)

  • Pick a meeting spot “just in case things go wrong” 😅

The Bachelor/ette party doesn't have to be complicated —

It just has to be unforgettable.

GROUP ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTY

Find the One

Before leaving home, everyone puts €10 in a bag and hands it to the groom. He collects the total, puts on his special outfit (chosen by the group, of course), and receives a map with 20 possible bars.

Then what? He picks one and disappears.

The rest of the group splits into teams (of 2 or 3 people) and the hunt begins: at every bar where he isn’t, they have to buy a round (no cheating). When they find the groom? They can start spending the “prize.”

But here’s the thing: only the first person to find it gets the best deal. By the time the others arrive, there might not be any change left.

👉 We have the complete kit—including the costume and a bar crawl map—ready to go in Porto, Lisbon, Albufeira (Oura), Albufeira (Old Town), or Vigo.

Challenge Accepted

A HenStag party isn't just about drinks—it's a mission. And that mission comes with its challenges.

Plan a series of challenges for the bride or groom and find a fun (and stylish) way to present them:

1. Badges with slots

Make (or buy) a vest or sash with “slot”-like spaces. Each friend brings a badge with a challenge. The bride or groom collects badges throughout the evening until they have the complete set.

2. T-shirt with a list of challenges

Print the challenges on the back of the bride or groom’s T-shirt. Every time they complete one, cross it off with a marker. It’s easy, inexpensive, and everyone stays in the loop.

3. Mini trophies or medals

Each participant receives a small medal or trophy with an assigned challenge. The bride or groom earns them as they complete the challenges. Perfect to keep as a memento of a legendary night.

4. Challenge Cards

Turn challenges into cards. Each person hands theirs out throughout the night, at just the right moments. You never know what’s coming next.

Check out our accessories page—you’ll find all of this there.

Challenge Accepted

Awards

Before the trip, the group decides on a list of prizes.

During the HenStag, they keep an eye on who deserves what—and at the end, they hand out the rewards, complete with speeches, trophies, or punishments.

1. Revelation – Who was the biggest surprise (for better or for worse)?

2. The Biggest Drunk – The person who went overboard.

3. Best Failed Pickup Line – You tried, you failed, and you’ll never forget it.

4. First to throw up—no explanation needed.

5. MVP of the HenStag – The player who contributed the most.

6. Drama Queen/King – For the most intense performance.

7. Best Outfit – The most stylish or the most ridiculous.

8. Missing in Action – He disappeared for hours… and no one really knows why.

9. Best Dance – Memorable Moves.

10. I Don't Remember a Thing – For those who need to have everything recounted to them the next day.

Songs & Stories

Before the trip, each person chooses a song that holds special meaning: it might be a song that reminds them of their fiancé(e), a memorable moment with the group, or just something that represents their friendship.

During the ride, the playlist plays—and whenever your song comes on, you’re the one who tells the story behind your choice.

Songs & Stories

Party Patrol

During the trip, one member of the group (or several, taking turns) wears an accessory—a cap, badge, or sash—and takes on the role of “HenStag Police.”

His job?

To impose symbolic fines on those who break certain “rules” of the group.

Some examples of violations:

  • Spending more than 5 minutes straight on your phone
  • Falling asleep on public transportation
  • Going over the same story for the third time
  • Complaining about a hangover
  • Taking too long to get ready
  • Forgetting something important (wallet, charger, etc.)

For each “ticket,” the person must perform a lighthearted or humorous penalty (e.g., pay someone in the group a compliment, sing a song, take a selfie with a stranger, etc.).

Bonus: the “police officer” can change every day or be chosen by a vote.

Party Patrol

Banned Words

Before the trip begins, each person chooses a forbidden word —any word they like.

The rule: Once all the words have been chosen, no one in the group is allowed to say any of them.

If someone says a forbidden word, they get a penalty: it could be drinking, singing, making a fool of themselves, or whatever the person who came up with the word decides.

Banned Words

Secret Missions

Before the trip begins, each person receives (or is assigned by lottery) one or more secret missions —these can be handed out on a folded piece of paper, in an envelope, or via a private message.

Examples of missions:

  • Get someone from the group to sing in public
  • Take a selfie with a stranger
  • Switching seats with someone at a restaurant
  • To buy a shot for a stranger
  • Come up with a nickname and get someone in the group to use it for 30 minutes

The goal is to complete the mission without getting caught by the group.

If someone becomes suspicious and says “Mission!” + explains why, the mission is considered a failure.

If it is completed discreetly, the person earns 1 point.

At the end of the trip, the points are tallied and the group chooses the best secret agent.

There may even be a prize or special award.

Secret Missions

Snack Dealer

Everyone starts with a snack they bought before the trip—it can be something simple or even a bit odd (like a bag of lupini beans, an energy bar, a slightly ripe banana... whatever you like).

During the trip, the goal is to convince strangers to trade their snack for something “better.” Anything goes: another snack, an accessory, a souvenir from the city… what counts is creativity (and smooth talk!).

At the end of the day, everyone shows off what they managed to trade. The group votes on which item was the most epic or unlikely.

🥇 The winner gets a prize.

❌ Anyone who didn’t manage to make a single trade… faces a fitting punishment.

Snack Dealer

Photo Bomb Hunt

During the trip, each person has to sneak into three photos of strangers —classic photobomb style.

It could be a group taking a selfie, tourists posing, or even someone at a restaurant taking a picture of their meal. The important thing is to be clearly visible.

At the end of the trip, everyone must provide proof—it can be recorded directly or, ideally, someone in the group witnessed it.

🎉 Whoever passes all 3 challenges avoids the penalty.

🥴 Whoever fails… drinks (or does a penalty chosen by the group).

Photo Bomb Hunt

The Ultimate Quiz

During the trip, the group tests the groom (or bride) with a personalized quiz—created by someone who knows him or her well.

Before saying goodbye, each member of the group asks the bride or groom questions about their past, secrets, embarrassing moments, or funny stories:

  • What was the name of your first crush in school?
  • What's your favorite dish?
  • What strange habit do you have when you sleep?
  • Where did that graduation trip go?
  • What is something he/she always says?

Ask the questions one by one, without warning.

Get it wrong? Forfeit or a shot.

Get it right? The whole group drinks.

You can also give them a “score” sheet where they add (or lose) points, with a small prize at the end (or a penalty if they have fewer than X points).

The Ultimate Quiz

Porto comes alive early in the morning: the day begins with bustling cafés, people on the streets, lively markets, and stalls selling local products. When you’re with friends, discovering little treasures—handicrafts, food, music—becomes part of the experience. Bars with outdoor seating, river-view terraces, small taverns, and cocktail bars mingle with more intimate clubs and live music venues. The night is meant to last—unhurried, but with a desire to make things happen.

Cuisine

One of Porto’s must-try specialties is the francesinha—a hearty dish piled high with meat, melted cheese, and that rich, unmistakable sauce. You simply can’t leave the city without trying it.

Port wine is a fortified wine made in the Douro Valley—rich, sweet, and full of character. It’s perfect for toasting—served in a small glass, on its own or with dessert. It comes in various styles: fruity, oaky, or aged, each with its own signature character.

Daytime Activities

Daytime Activities

A hearty breakfast at a local bakery—all-you-can-eat traditional pastries.

Then, a leisurely stroll through the city center: Ribeira, narrow streets, street art, stairways, and viewpoints.

When you want to get your adrenaline pumping: go-karting, paintball, dune buggy rides, or even a pole-dancing class—the choice is up to the group, and so is the laughter.

Then take a leisurely cruise on the Douro—see the bridges up close and feel the river.

And when you’re ready to get into the party spirit: sample Port wine in a cellar, try a themed escape room, go on a boat party, ride a beer bike, or have fun on a private boat.

Some of these options are located in central areas, offering traditional or modern menus, almost always featuring dishes designed for sharing—such as fish, seafood, grilled meats, cod, francesinhas, or special group menus.

After dinner, head first to Jardim da Cordoaria, where the concentration of traditional bars guarantees drinks at attractive prices—the perfect spot to get the group in the mood without breaking the bank. Just a few steps away, head up to the streets of Galerias de Paris, where the dance floors start to beckon: these bars feature lively music and cocktails that blend flavor and rhythm, keeping the party going.
